• What is Toastmaster International and how Top Talkers Club fits it?
  
  Toastmaster International is a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking and leadership skills. Today Toastmasters is a world leader and now has more than 260,000 members around the globe. As a non-profit organization it runs a network of clubs led by volunteers for volunteers.
  
  Top Talkers belongs to the worldwide network of Toastmasters Clubs and helps people to achieve public speaking and leadership goals through regular meetings. It is one of the 6 clubs in Kyiv where you have a great opportunity to learn-by-doing in pleasant friendly atmosphere.

• Why do people join Top Talkers Toastmasters Club?
  
  People can benefit from our practical, face-to-face learning program. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better. You'll learn and practice in a supportive, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you are – to become better communicators.

• What specifically will I learn to do as a Toastmaster?
  
  On constant basis, you will have the opportunity to practice conducting the meetings, presenting effective prepared speeches, giving impromptu speeches, offering constructive evaluations, and contributing to discussions. Also you will be gradually introduced in to various roles of Top Talkers meeting. Actively participating as a member you will get through your Communication and Leadership tracks raising confidence, conquering fear of public speaking and honing your listening skills.

• How soon will I be an expert?
  Members progress at their own pace. Some move faster than others but everyone who joins Top Talkers Toastmasters Club and participates in the program can be sure they will become a competent speaker. Your skills develop steadily. As your confidence grows, the situations that once terrified you are taken in your stride.

• Is it expensive?
  No. In comparison to various courses, seminars, programs, cassette and video kits offered through the media, Toastmasters is the best value by far. In our opinion it is the most effective way to learn public speaking and build your confidence. Membership is just $72 a year and an initial registration fee of $20.
  
  Anyone over 18 may join. To see if it's for you, just come along to a club meeting as our guest. Visitors can attend for free and are always assured of a friendly welcome without any obligation.
